Louis A. Green Corp. has provided dependable products and services for almost sixty years. Originally, the company distributed a wide range of webbings, cord, hardware, and custom straps to wholesale customers in North America. Louis Green was known for handling stock and special-order products for the transportation, industrial, military, sign/banner, tent/canvas/tarp, marine, outdoor, and recreation industries. Years of involvement with specialty fabrics have given us a high degree of technical knowledge and product familiarity in the narrow fabrics and related industries. Our engineering staff stays current though professional memberships and by attending industry trade shows such as IFAI and Tech Textil.
Over our history, we have done business with over four thousand customers. Larger, industrial customers purchase webbing in mill-run quantities while many smaller companies buy webbing, hardware, and manufactured items in distributor quantities.
Inventory Management, Warehousing & Shipping
Today, the Louis A. Green Corp. stocks and manages a selected inventory of specialty narrow fabrics. Webbing products include nylon, polyester, polypropylene, and cotton. We also handle special orders for several unique types of custom webbings and yarns.We operate an efficient, expandable warehouse and production facility in North Adams, Massachusetts. All inventory is computer tracked. Warehouse information is networked directly into our corporate and sales office located in Braintree, Massachusetts.
We are experienced in all aspects of importing by ocean freight and by air freight. We ship orders daily via motor freight (LTL and full trailer load services on several truck lines) and package services (UPS and FedEx) and can provide efficient distribution throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico..
RESEARCH: Louis A. Green Corp. can work with a customer to determine product positioning based on actual customer requirements to develop a strong plan to compete in the North American market. Our experience will be helpful in understanding competition and determining appropriate pricing strategies.
