Leaders are a great source for very low cost seat belt webbing when color and strength is not important.  This type of seat belt seconds may contain many colors in one roll.  This off color, often low-strength, but very affordable seat belt webbing can be an inexpensive alternative to higher-quality aftermarket webbing.

When purchasing any aftermarket seat belt webbing it is important to understand what quality you are buying, and to purchase the quality you need for your particular project or product. The material can range from OEM quality in full rolls with no splices and perfect color consistency, to low strength leaders with many splices, total color variation, stiff texture and low strength.
